About the Album
The album “Andy Firth & Bruce Hancock-Seems Like Old Times”: The first of only two albums recorded by Andy Firth & the late, celebrated South Australian Jazz pianist. Friends for over 30 years, Andy & Bruce regularly worked around South Australia during Andy’s early career and college years in Adelaide, South Australia.
Recorded in only five hours in December 2012 whilst Andy Firth was in Adelaide visiting family and friends for Christmas.
Each of the songs was totally unrehearsed and recorded twice only and the best take from these sessions was chosen for the final album.
